Cross-Check (or CxC) is a club for boys in grades 1 through 6 designed to assist in the development of healthy social, physical, and creative skills, while maintaining an awareness of God's important role in their everyday lives.
Juniors: 1st to 3rd grade
Seniors: 4th to 6th grade
We meet every Wednesday night at Fellowship Bible Church between 7:00pm and 8:45pm throughout the school year. The club's staff consists of nine male FBC members who involve about 20-30 boys in creative games, crafts, and Bible Lessons. The boys earn points to win interval prizes based on the Cross-Check point system.
But why "CROSS-CHECK" ???
Besides "Cross-Check" personifying the rugged characteristics of boys, the name reminds us, as Christians, to constantly keep Christ (or His "CROSS") and His teachings in CHECK in our daily lives. Jesus tells us in Luke 9:23, "If anyone will come after me, let them deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow me."
